The Steel Yard / Loose Cannon - London

The Steel Yard, hosting club nights and corporate events and Loose Cannon city bar was refurbished and re-opened in October 2014.  The vast event space set under the railway arches of London’s Cannon Street train station offers a great space steeped in history.

The Premises has two large bars. The City Bar serving food and drink in a relaxed environment and the Steel Yard events space bar offering a fast and efficient service on busy club nights.

The management team were looking for an EPoS System to offer a restaurant style service in the city bar and a fast and effective service in the Steel Yard.

Solutions

DHFE supplied and installed 5 Poindus VariPos 15” Touch Screens with TouchPoint software linked to TouchOffice.

We fully managed the installation by pre-programming the system of site and after the complex install we trained staff on site and offered further training and programming on-line once the installation had been completed.

The system included a kitchen printer for the restaurant side of the business.  This enables the order to be taken at the bar, immediately sending  the chef the order so he can begin cooking right away.

The system is rented so is completely maintained and supported by us.  The customer's mind is at rest knowing that their EPoS system is reliable and looked after.
